Megger MIT230 Insulation Tester
With its pocket sized design, the MIT230 insulation/continuity tester is an ideal piece of equipment in any electrician's toolkit. The simple dial layout on the tester allow the user to easily decipher what it is they are testing, along with the clear and accurate display means they can make no mistake interpreting the data displayed from these tests.
The advancement from the MIT220 to the MIT230 is that on the MIT230 the user can test insulation at 250V, 500V and 1000V up to 1000MΩ whereas the MIT220 could only test at 250V and 500V. The MIT230 can carry out continuity tests to 100Ω, with 0-10Ω on this test being tested at lager than 200mA, this is done in accordance with international standards. There is also a continuity buzzer that has a 5Ω threshold.
