Fluke 1663 UK Multifunction Installation Tester
The Fluke 1663 is the perfect tester for trouble-shooters working in large scale industry. Its wide measurement capabilities gives the electrician using it, all the confidence to carry out the necessary tests they require for even the most specialised jobs.
The feature set on the 1662 has been expanded on the 1663. On the 1663 there are now continuity tests at L-N, L-PE, N-PE inputs, type B RCDs (EV Charging point for example) can be tested, earth resistance can be measured, there is now a Z max memory feature (making it easy to analyse the highest loop test value) and 3000 measurements can be stored on-board the unit itself.
As well as the brand new features, the 1663 has a number of other measurement capabilities. For example, TRMS Voltage AC/DC and frequency, insulation resistance, continuity, loop and line resistance, auto polarity swap, prospective earth fault current, prospective short-circuit current and a phase sequence test. Coupled with all these functions are the RCD tests on the unit, these include, RCD trip time, RCD trip current (ramp test), RCD Type A and AC measurement in one test, RCD variable test current and an automatic RCD test sequence.
