The latest development in Seaward's range of handheld testers is the IRT1557 combined insulation and continuity tester.

The new product features a large backlit LCD display that shows all measurement readings in both digital and analogue formats.  It also incorporates an integrated safety probe to ensure the display remains in the user's line of sight while circuit measurements are taken.

The lightweight product also boasts automatic discharge of capacitive circuits, a lock function to continuously apply a test and automatic audio warnings of high voltage and low or high resistance.

The unit comes with fused test leads and a rotary test selection switch.
